FRESH PROOF for FRESH FRUIT

If you needed more evidence that eating fruit is good for your heart - well you've got it. 

A recent study from China, published in the New England Journal of Medicine (that's a big deal) showed that people who ate more fruit had lower blood pressure, lower blood sugar AND lower risk of having a heart attack, dying from a heart attack or having a stroke (also a big deal).

Not only that, but the more fruit you ate in a day, the more you were protected from heart attacks and strokes. So maybe you'll need more than just one apple a day to keep the doctor away. 

Fresh fruit - preferably not canned or processed - is better for your health. So grab some fruit and make it a part of your breakfast, a quick snack or chop it up as a delicious dessert.
