Balancing Half Moon Pose (Ardha Chandrasana)

Benefits: Strengthens and stretches the legs, ankles, feet and hips, promotes balance. Stretches the chest. 

Common misalignments and suggestions: Similar to triangle pose, if you have trouble reaching the floor, place the lower hand on a block. The extra height will help you to open the chest more fully and keep the spine properly aligned.
